I've noticed that people age 35 and under seem to not understand the power and value of actually calling someone on the PHONE - yes speaking to someone is usually faster and more effective. Even though I'm not in the 35 and under range, I have to remind myself to pick up the phone from time to time to get things accomplished. I have been able to get business to rank well without many backlinks, but only with highly specialized keyword selection.
